Frequently Asked Questions

What is BetSimply?

BetSimply is a platform for onchain games built using Simplicity smart contracts on the Liquid Network. Every game is fully defined by deterministic script logic, ensuring transparent and verifiable execution.

What makes BetSimply different?

All games on BetSimply are powered by Simplicity scripting. This means:

  • Game rules are enforced at the script level
  • Outcomes are determined by contract logic, not by a centralized operator
  • Payout conditions are pre-defined and verifiable

The result is a system where execution follows code, not discretion.

What is Simplicity?

Simplicity is a next generation smart contract language designed for Bitcoin and Liquid. It enables formally verifiable, deterministic contracts with predictable execution.

On BetSimply, every game contract is written in Simplicity and settled directly on Liquid.

How do I connect my wallet?

BetSimply uses Liquid Connect to link your wallet to the platform.

Liquid Connect is a wallet connect style interface for the Liquid Network that allows users to:

  • Connect non custodial wallets
  • Sign transactions locally
  • Interact directly with Simplicity based contracts

Your keys remain in your wallet at all times. BetSimply never takes custody of funds.

Do I need to deposit funds?

No centralized deposits are required.

  • When you participate in a game:
  • You sign a transaction from your own wallet
  • Funds are locked directly into a Simplicity contract
  • Settlement occurs according to the script conditions

There are no user accounts holding balances on BetSimply.

What assets are used?

Games are settled on the Liquid Network, typically using L-BTC or supported Liquid assets depending on the specific contract.

Are the games provably fair?

Yes.

Because all games are implemented in Simplicity:

  • Contract logic is deterministic
  • Payout conditions are defined before funding
  • Settlement is enforced by the Liquid blockchain

Anyone can verify the script and resulting transaction.
